If you’re a fan of the sadly departed Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic Desktop, or any of its equally-admired predecessors — from the original Microsoft Natural Keyboard to the much-loved Natural Ergonomic 4000 — you’ll feel right at home on this one.

We’ve captured all the key elements that users loved about the Microsoft originals, and upgraded everything else...

That classic Microsoft layout

The very first Microsoft ergonomic keyboard came out in 1994, and every model since has not strayed far from the key layout of the original. That’s potentially 3 decades of muscle memory.

We recognized this fact, and made sure not to stray too far either.

Better palm support.

We loved almost everything about Microsoft’s last offering, but the padding on the palm support was a little thin. This was the first upgrade we made.

The Matias Sculpted Ergonomic keyboard has a thicker, denser support pad, made of natural rubber (from a tree) so it will last much longer.

Plus, it’s magnetically attached, so it can be easily removed for cleaning, replacement, or recycling. We'll also be offering an interesting assortment of replacement pads.

Rechargeable with a 3-year battery life.

This is our second major upgrade.

By combining a very high-capacity 1600mAh rechargeable battery with highly power-efficient electronics, we’re able to deliver 3 years of battery life, on a single charge.

Dual wireless receivers... USB + USB‑C

We include two wireless receivers (USB and USB‑C) in the box, already paired and ready to go.

Just plug in the one you need, and turn on the keyboard. That’s all the setup required — zero headaches.

World’s smallest USB‑C nano receiver.

Technology marches on, and we’ll soon be living in a world completely dominated by USB‑C.

If you’re a notebook user, that means all those wireless receivers from years past will no longer fit — and all the new USB‑C ones are WAY too big to safely leave plugged into your laptop (risking snagging / breaking off / damaging your port) — except for this one…

The Matias Sculpted Ergonomic Keyboard will be the first ergonomic keyboard to benefit from our new USB‑C nano receiver — the world’s smallest wireless receiver for USB‑C.

Wired too.

Some people need their keyboard to be wired (for a variety of reasons). If you’re one of those people, we have you covered.

Plugging the Sculpted Ergo keyboard into a computer, automatically switches it to wired mode.

• the ability to use the charging cable as a traditional data cable, allowing you to use the keyboard as a traditional wired keyboard if you prefer
